A RECENT HISTORY IN IMAGES

A squirrel got into the house and a few of my housemates got with a BB gun.

Ironically, tonight I get to write a paper analyzing an Animal Rights activist’s argument against Speciesism for my philosophy class. Myself, I am admittedly a speciesist. I think that it’s immoral kill animals with wanton disregard (extreme speciesism), but I’m not sure that I can wrap my head around the theory that non-human animals and humans have equal rights in certain respects.

PS. Yes, these guys are truly hicks. Mike (on the right) is especially weird.

First of all, get your mind out of the gutter. They’re starting to construct a new dorm across the street from my house. There are many downsides to this:

1. The bus doesn’t stop in front of my house anymore.
2. The sidewalk across from my house is closed.
3. You can’t cut through the six pack to get to the football stadium or IMPE (the gym) anymore.
And most annoying of all:
4. THAT GODDAMN RACKET! They start working at 7:30am and stop at 5:30pm. For most of this afternoon, my ears have been bleeding to “KLANK-A-KLANK-A-KLANK-A-KLANK-A-KLANK-A-KLANK-A-KLANK” nonstop.

It’s springtime, and I felt like some change. Mmm, a minimalist theme.

I also just noticed wordpress updated their dashboard and post editor. Spiffy. Trying out the new “gallery” feature in this post. Was too tired/lazy to crop or adjust for exposure/color, but enjoy anyway.
