Feeling Nostalgic
After my 30GB iPod died, I mourned my loss for a few weeks and eventually moved on to an 2GB iPod nano. Since then I’ve been content with shuffling through the 400-something of my favorite and most liked songs, but after opening my full music collection open fully for the first time in a long time, I realize that I so dearly miss being able to carry around my full music assemblage. I miss the random, oft missed song; the eclectic, mysterious B-side; the live version of that one song I kinda like. Is it time for me to put down the puny nano and step back up to an 80 GB big boy iPod?
5 songs on my iPod:
- “5 Months, 2 Weeks, 2 Days” - Louis Prima
- “My Adidas” - Run DMC
- “Like Spinning Plates” (Live) - Radiohead
- “Inertiatic E.S.P.” - The Mars Volta
- “Casino Queen” - Wilco
