Powers of Ten
First Wedding
I shot my first wedding yesterday with Johnny. I found that the easy parts were when we had complete control over everything (telling them how to pose, adjusting lighting equipment, etc.). The toughest part was finding those small, interesting moments or being able to find the right kind of lighting for certain situations. I guess it’s just a matter of going with the flow, rolling with the punches, and knowing what kinds of things to look for. I may be interested in shooting another one again if the opportunity arises..
Here are my three best shots (so far, still sorting through the mess of bad photos):

Graduation Time
Went to ISU for my cousin Bernice’s Graduation last Saturday.

90 Years
Tuesday was my Lola’s 90th birthday (”lola” means grandma in tagalog). We were supposed to have a party at a restaurant for her, but she was feeling ill so my dad had to take her to the hospital and have her admitted. So the party was canceled. I went to visit her tuesday to wish her birthday and bring her some cake! I got the nurses to sing happy birthday for her, and one filipino nurse serenaded her with a song in tagalog. Hopefully I helped her to have a happy birthday; she was probably just happy to see me.
