Well, here we are. There’s about a week left in the MLB regular season and the Cubbies are in the thick of a pennant race.

For the remaining games, the Cubs get to play: Pirates, Marlins, Reds
while the Brewers have to play: Braves, Cardinals, Padres

If they don’t win the division, I will murder so many lizards. They HAVE to win at this point! Of course I was also wrong in 2004. If that happens again, I will pull out all of my (thick, glorious) hair.

Speaking of which, what an incredible throw by Soriano yesterday. The ball didn’t even bounce!
